Welcome!
Summer is finally here and your Recreation Department is in full gear…the outdoor pool opened June 1st and will remain open until the end of August. Please check our pool hotline number 440-962-0618 for pool updates.
All the city baseball and softball teams are all playing – stop by the ball fields behind City Hall to watch some of these exciting games. Our playground was recently praised in an article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer saying, "kids of all ages should find hours of fun at this expansive playground". The park with its pavilions, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and bocce ball courts offer something for everyone.
We invite you to come down to the City Hall and Community Center complexes to be a part of the community spirit and meet your neighbors and friends.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide people of all ages and ability the opportunity to participate in active and passive, individual and team, competitive and non-competitive programs. Through our community recreational and leisure activities, we strive to:
- Foster community spirit through friendship and teamwork.
- Teach the fundamentals of fitness, exercise and sport.
- Instill the concepts of pride, motivation and sportsmanship in all participants.
Our vision is to become a model for other recreation departments throughout Greater Cleveland and Ohio. We will do this by offering dynamic programs, using professionally certified instructors and providing progressive, state-of-the-art facilities, which will fully serve the needs of our citizens.
