Aquatics

Swimming lessons are offered to children ages 18 months and older. Weekday classes for adults are also available. The Community Center uses the American Red Cross method of teaching, and all instructors are certified Water Safety Instructors. All lessons are taught at the indoor heated pool, average temperature is 86 degrees. The ratio of student to teacher is generally 3:1 for preschool and levels 1,2 or 3.

Registration costs $25 for members, $40 for resident nonmembers and $50 for nonresidents. Registration will remain open for all Learn-to-Swim programs until the class is full, or until two days prior to the first day of class.

Please note there is enrollment limits on all classes, so please register early to avoid the disappointment of being shutout.

Regular hours of operation for the outdoor pool (starting June 7th) are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekdays and 1 to 7:30 p.m. weekends (weather permitting) until August 24th. From August 25 til Sept 2, pools hours will be 1-6 pm, 7 days a week! From June 1-June 6, pool hours are from 1-6 pm!

The 9:00 am Water Exercise Class is for Middleburg Hts. residents ONLY! Monthly pass holders and Silver Sneaker members may not participate unless they reside in Middleburg Hts. 

The "Dolphin Room" is now open for birthday parties for children with 25 or less guests. Located right by the pool deck, this room allows back and forth privileges for 3 hour blocks of time.
