New Fire Engine Delivered

The Middleburg Heights Fire Department recently received a new Pierce fire engine.  It will replace a 29 year old reserve Sutphen fire engine.  It was displayed to the community during the 'Summer in the City' Festival held in June.  The new engine incorporates many new safety features to protect our firefighters while responding to and returning from calls.  This equipment includes seatbelts and airbags in the cab and new stripping on the rear of the truck.  Currently our firefighters are mounting equipment and training with the new truck.
